    TEST NA HBsAg

    Hepatitis B test

    Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) test is a blood test used to detect hepatitis B virus (hepatitis B) infection. This test looks for the presence of HBsAg antigen in the blood, which is one of the first indicators of active infection.

    The HBsAg antigen usually appears in the blood about 1 to 10 weeks after exposure to the virus and may persist in people with chronic infection. Its detection is crucial for rapid identification and treatment of infection, as well as for preventive measures against the spread of the virus.

    A positive result requires further testing to determine whether the infection is acute or chronic.</p
