Product detailed description
Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is a laboratory test that measures how quickly red blood cells settle at the bottom of a blood tube over the course of one hour. An increased sedimentation rate may indicate inflammation, infection, or autoimmune disease, while low values are rare. The test is used to assess inflammatory processes in the body, but it does not provide a specific diagnosis on its own.
