The urine test for the simultaneous detection of 12 major STD pathogens allows for rapid and effective identification of infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites, which are often responsible for sexually transmitted diseases. The test targets the presence of the following pathogens:

• Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT): A bacterium causing chlamydia, which can lead to infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease, and other complications.
• Mycoplasma Hominis (MH): A bacterium associated with urinary and genital infections, particularly in women.
• Neisseria Gonorrhoeae (NG): The causative agent of gonorrhea, an infection affecting the genital tract, rectum, and throat that can lead to serious health problems.
• Mycoplasma Genitalium (MG): A bacterium causing infections of the urinary and genital tracts, potentially leading to inflammation and infertility.
• Trichomonas Vaginalis (TV): A parasite responsible for trichomoniasis, often asymptomatic but can cause irritation and inflammation.
• Ureaplasma Urealyticum (UU): A pathogen that can cause inflammation of the urinary and genital tracts, often asymptomatic but linked to infertility.
• Ureaplasma Parvum (UP): A bacterium present in the genital tract that may cause urinary infections and reproductive issues.
• Gardnerella vaginalis (GV): A bacterium causing bacterial vaginosis, characterized by abnormal discharge and odor.
• Herpes simplex virus -1 (HSV-1): A virus causing cold sores, most commonly around the mouth, but can be transmitted to the genitals.
