Product detailed description
The urine test for the simultaneous detection of 7 major STD pathogens enables rapid and effective identification of infections caused by bacteria and parasites, which are often responsible for sexually transmitted diseases. The following pathogens are detected:
- Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT): A bacterium that causes chlamydia, which can lead to infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease, and other complications if left untreated.
- Neisseria Gonorrhoeae (NG): The causative agent of gonorrhea, an infection that affects the genital tract, rectum, and throat and can result in severe health issues.
- Trichomonas Vaginalis (TV): A parasite responsible for trichomoniasis, affecting the vaginal tract, often asymptomatically, but it can cause irritation and inflammation.
- Mycoplasma Hominis (MH): A bacterium associated with urinary and genital infections, potentially leading to severe complications, particularly in pregnant women.
- Mycoplasma Genitalium (MG): A bacterium causing infections of the urinary and genital tracts, which may result in pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility.
- Ureaplasma Urealyticum (UU): A pathogen that can cause inflammation of the urinary and genital tracts, often asymptomatic, but may contribute to infertility.
- Ureaplasma Parvum (UP): A bacterium present in the genital tract that can be the cause of inflammatory diseases and reproductive issues, despite often being asymptomatic.
