This test allows for the rapid and effective detection of a wide range of infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi responsible for sexually transmitted diseases:

• Candida albicans (CA): A yeast that causes candidiasis, a common infection leading to itching, irritation, and discharge in both women and men.
• Gardnerella vaginalis (GV): A bacterium associated with bacterial vaginosis, causing abnormal vaginal discharge and odor.
• Treponema pallidum (TP): A bacterium that causes syphilis, a serious sexually transmitted disease that can affect multiple organs and lead to severe health complications if untreated.
• Haemophilus ducreyi (HD): A bacterium responsible for chancroid, a sexually transmitted disease characterized by painful genital ulcers.
• Herpes simplex virus -1 (HSV-1): A virus commonly causing cold sores around the mouth, but it can also be transmitted to the genital area.
• Herpes simplex virus -2 (HSV-2): A virus that causes genital herpes, marked by painful blisters and sores on the genital area.
• Streptococcus agalactiae (GBS): A bacterium that can cause urinary tract infections and pose a risk to newborns if transmitted from the mother during childbirth.
