    Tetanus antibody test

    The Tetanus IgG test is a laboratory test that measures the level of tetanus antibodies in the blood.

    The purpose of this test is to determine if the patient has sufficient immunity to tetanus, a serious bacterial disease caused by the bacterium Clostridium tetani.

    The test is often done in people who have been exposed to the risk of infection or in those who are unsure of their vaccination status.

    What does the results report contain?

    How does the examination work?
